Group visit, 6 huts, all beautifully presented, air con and washroom facilities in each hut. Site is a paradise, felt very safe and secure. Excellent for a short trip from Ahmedabad. Highly recommend the food - some of the best food I had on my trip to India! Staff and service was excellent! Took a tour to the salt flats on jeeps, drivers were very safe, salt flats are and incredible place, introduced to a local family processing salt - very moving for all! More community on site - selling small trinkets and jewellery. Folk dance is great fun!

I just loved this hotel. The location of hotel is very good. Hotel has good staff. The facilities provided by them are too good. The food quality is good. I recommended to stay there if you are in daman for few days.

The hotel is near to temple and gomti river and would be the perfect location for your stay at Dwarka, rooms and service is good. There is no restaurant in Hotel but popular Amrutras restaurant is at a walking distance.

Staff is perfect and always trying to help you and facilitate your stay, our room (suite Sajjan Niwas) was amazing, garden is beautiful, bar excellent (Jit can make delicious Daiquiri!), illuminated city view of City Palace and Shiv Niwas Palace is so beautiful and romantic! Best ever place visited.

We were a group of 3 senior citizens traveling to Bhavnagar; we chose The Basil Park relying on the positive reviews. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and had all the amenities one expects from a modern hotel. The service was top-notch. The staff is helpful and courteous. I have no hesitation in recommending The Basil Park.

The room was spacious, neat and comfortable. The location is also near to SOU and highway. The support staff were co operative. One star less for the arrogant and rude behaviour along with negative attitude of a male person at the reception who claimed to be the owner of the hotel.

The hotel is good in terms of Heritage exterior / architecture and budget. Otherwise hotel rooms and living experience is very ordinary kind of lodge. Food comes from parent hotel nilam bag, hotel staff is good

Very pleasant place with open lounge and dining spaces. There are square and round huts, but beware they all have very low doorways... ouch!!! Bed was comfortable. Bathroom & shower was a nice design. Food was good. There is a 20+ minute drive to wildlife areas. Juned our guide for 3 safaris made this stay memorable. His commitment to helping us enjoy the wildlife, mainly birdwatching was fantastic. Cannot recommend him high enough. We saw 20000 Demoiselle Cranes coming into one of the wetland areas, a very good view of an Eagle Owl, 2 golden Jackals and many Wild Indian Asses , to mention a few.

We are so glad that we chose banni village stay for the 3 days that we stayed at rann. Banni is about 20 mins ways from the white runn which is perfect coz it's away from the crowds yet close enough. The bungas are well spaced and the layout of the place is very good. It's not on the main road which is great coz it nice and quite. The food is absolutely amazing and the meals were served hot and fresh. We definitely recommend doing shopping at hodka village for leather bags and local embroidery. Don't forget to check out the lippan mud work on the bungas of the locals. We were also very lucky that we could spend an extra night at hodka zeal (another hotel run by these guys inside the village) infact we loved this place as much as we liked banni. The people at ever helpful and always smiling. We will surely recommend this place to others and would love to visit again.

We'd planned Gir safari all girls trip with our respective kid and decided to stay at Aaranya after reading all the wonderful reviews here. And the place does prove it worth. We did spot the king of the jungle but even if we'd missed it we would have been completely satisfied visiting this place. Surrounded by farms till the horizon, shaded by beautiful mango trees, tastefully designed villas and above all the seven star hospitality that Dhanji bhai and his family provide. We had a few tantrums and untimely demands for meals and other stuff owing to the kids but never once we got disappointed. In fact, at a point we felt bad and said we will be fine with the cold food but they just couldn't let us and instantly made hot rotis and stuff for us. Nothing can match those lovely souls and the efforts they put in. Totally recommended whether you have kids or not. I am an avid traveler and this by far is the best experience I have ever had.

It was a fantastic experience, it was explendid, very rich hospitality, cooperative people and an hygienic place healthy atmosphere. Nice humble staff are always ready to give the best experience to the guest. Local rich cultural atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Quite centrally located, a comfortable and reasonably priced place. They provided good packed lunches for our site seeing trips. Good Breakfast menu and service attached to the same. A separate room for friends to gather in the evening was also provided, thanks to the management.

The Camp is well situated to see the Wild Ass sanctuary, well worth the visit. The rooms (cottages), spread around the grounds, are pretty basic but clean. The food was surprisingly good. The staff a bit dishevelled but mean well. The pool was empty and the wifi didn't work. But I would guess it might be difficult to do better anywhere else. We were on an inclusive tour so it's hard to say if it's good value. One highlight was the appearance one evening of a small local musical group. Rather magical listening to them in the open air.
